Press C on the Tasks page, type a title and press Enter: the card lands in To do.

Drag cards between To do, In progress, In review and Done. The card keeps its timer, checklist and files.

Click a card to open it beside the board: assignees, due date, priority, project, labels and a checklist.

Drop screenshots or documents on the task. Images and PDFs preview in its files panel.

Mark that a task is blocked by another. It shows a lock on the board and unlocks by itself when the other is done.

Type # in chat to mention a task. It shows as a live link with its status; click it to open the task.

A board that knows the hours
Most kanban tools leave time tracking to a plug-in. In Hourtick the timer is part of the card: start it on the task, and the time is booked to the task's project with its billable rate. The board, your timesheet and the billable reports always agree.

Frequently asked questions
Is the kanban board really free?
Yes. The board is part of Hourtick, which is free for unlimited people with every feature. You only pay if your workspace uses more than 500 MB a month.
Can I switch between a board and a list?
Yes. The same tasks show as a board or a list; filters for people, projects, clients and labels work in both.
Can I track time on a card?
Yes. Start the timer on the task, from the Mac menu bar, or pick the task in "What are you working on?". The hours show on the card and in your timesheet.
Can I bring my Trello board over?
There's no one-click Trello import. Most teams recreate their open cards in a few minutes, or let their AI assistant create them over Hourtick's MCP server.
