Frequently asked questions
Is the free plan really free for a whole team?
Yes. Unlimited people, every feature, no time limit and no credit card. You only pay when your workspace uses more than 500 MB a month.
What counts as usage?
What we store for your workspace (time entries and their history, tasks, comments, chat messages, AI agent records and uploaded files) plus the data our servers send and receive for it this month: loading pages, syncing timers, live chat, the API and MCP. Stored data carries over; data in and out starts again on the 1st. Settings shows both.
Is it exact?
It's a close estimate, not a per-byte bill: stored data is measured every hour, and data in and out is counted as it happens. We don't watch what you do; we count bytes per workspace. Screens, apps and keystrokes are never recorded.
How far does 500 MB go?
A long way for time tracking: someone tracking time every workday uses around 5 MB a month. Busy chat and task work is closer to 35 MB a person, and uploaded files (screenshots, PDFs, designs) add their size.
What happens when the month's usage is used up?
Nothing stops except uploads. Timers, timesheets, tasks, comments, chat, reports, approvals and invoicing keep working. File uploads pause until the 1st, or until you upgrade or add more GB.
Can I get more than 5 GB?
Yes. On Pro, add as many GB a month as you need for $10 each, right from Settings. Remove them again any time.
Are there any feature tiers?
No. Both plans include every feature, for everyone in your workspace. The only difference is usage.
Can I pay yearly?
Monthly billing only for now, cancel any time.
What happens if I cancel?
Your workspace goes back to the free plan at the end of the billing period. Nothing is deleted; if it uses more than 500 MB a month, uploads pause.
