Delete it yourself

Hourtick (by WeCode A/S) lets you delete your account at any time, in the web app or in the Hourtick app for iPhone and Android. It takes effect at once.

• On the web: sign in at hourtick.com, open Settings, choose “Delete account…” and type your email address to confirm.
• In the iPhone or Android app: tap your avatar to open Settings, choose “Delete account”, then “Continue”, and type your email address to confirm.
• If you are the only owner of a workspace that other people are in, first make someone else an owner in Team settings (or remove the other members), so the team is never left without an owner.

Ask us to delete it

If you can't sign in, or you want only some of your data deleted, send a request through the contact form at the bottom of this page (topic “Privacy or data request”) from the email address on the account. We confirm it's your account, delete what you asked for and reply within one month.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address, sign-in methods (password, Google, Microsoft, Apple), sessions, API tokens and the phones registered for push notifications.
• Every workspace where you are the only member, with everything in it: time entries, projects, clients, tasks, chat and files.
• AI agents you added are switched off, and a paid plan on a workspace that is deleted is cancelled.

What is kept, and for how long

• In workspaces shared with others, the time you tracked, your tasks and your messages stay with the team as part of their records, shown as “Deleted user” and no longer linked to you.
• Backups roll over within 30 days, and server logs are deleted after 30 days.
• Billing records are kept as long as Danish bookkeeping law requires (currently five years from the end of the financial year).
