Terms of service
Last updated 27 September 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between WeCode A/S and the person or organisation using Hourtick ("you"). If you use Hourtick on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind it. Hourtick is intended for business use.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for your account credentials and API tokens and for activity under them, including AI agents you connect: an agent works with a member's permissions and its own token, and you're responsible for what it does and for the AI provider you run it with. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for who they invite and which roles they grant.
3. Plans and payment
- Every plan includes an unlimited number of people and every feature. Plans differ only in monthly usage.
- Free includes 500 MB of usage per workspace per month.
- Pro costs $29 per workspace per month for 5 GB of usage per month, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Extra usage costs $10 per GB per month; added GB are charged pro rata straight away, and removed GB are credited on the next invoice. Prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added where required.
- Usage is the sum of what a workspace stores (time entries and their history, tasks, comments, checklists, chat messages, AI agent records and files) and the data our servers send and receive for it in the current calendar month (UTC), measured in decimal units (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes). Stored data is measured at least hourly; data in and out is counted per request and resets on the 1st of each month. It is an estimate for plan limits, not a per-byte charge, and is shown in Settings.
- When a workspace's usage for the month reaches its limit, everything keeps working except uploading files, which pauses until the next month starts, the workspace upgrades or adds GB, or it deletes stored data.
- If a workspace uses far more than normal use would need, and it affects the service for others, we'll contact you first and agree on a fix before taking any action.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- We'll give at least 30 days' notice of price changes; they apply from the next renewal after the notice period.
- If payment fails, we may move the workspace to Free after reasonable notice. Your data is kept.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from Settings. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period and then returns to Free; nothing is deleted. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where we terminate the service without cause.
5. Your data
You keep all rights to the data you put into the service. You grant us the rights needed to host, process and display it to provide the service. We process personal data in your workspace under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms.
You can export your data at any time. After closing a workspace we delete its data as described in the Privacy policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable use policy.
7. API, MCP and integrations
API tokens act as the user who created them. Keep them secret and revoke them if exposed. We may apply reasonable rate limits and change or retire API versions with notice. When you connect third-party tools, such as AI assistants via MCP or the “Ask AI” buttons, those tools act under their own terms; you decide what they can do with the access you grant.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and correct, but it is provided without a service-level agreement unless we sign one with you. We may improve or change features; we won't materially reduce core functionality of a paid plan during a paid period.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
Hourtick, its software and brand belong to us or our licensors. If you send feedback, we may use it without obligation.
10. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data beyond what it could reasonably have prevented. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us in that period, or USD 100 if you use only the free plan. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put the service or others at risk, with notice where reasonable.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Disputes go to the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We'll post changes here and email account owners about material changes at least 30 days before they apply.
