What do customers actually pay for?
Hourtick is free for unlimited people, with 500 MB of usage a month. When a workspace needs more, it pays $29 a month for 5 GB. Every feature is on both plans. You earn on what referred workspaces pay, so a $29 customer is worth $5.80 a month to you.
How long does the cookie last?
60 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up within 60 days, on the same browser, the sign-up is yours.
When and how do I get paid?
Commissions are paid once a month, by PayPal or bank transfer, as soon as your balance reaches $20. Anything below stays on your balance and rolls forward.
How fast are applications approved?
Within 48 hours, usually faster. We look at where you'd share Hourtick, not at your follower count.
Who can join?
Creators, bloggers, newsletter writers, YouTubers, consultants, agencies, communities and anyone with an audience that tracks time or manages work: freelancers, small teams, developers, and people running AI agents.
Can I refer my own team or myself?
No. Sign-ups from your own accounts, your own company or anyone you control don't earn commission. Recommending Hourtick to clients and colleagues you don't work for is exactly what the program is for.
What traffic is not allowed?
No bidding on the Hourtick name or misspellings in paid search, no look-alike domains or fake reviews, no spam, and no claims we don't make. Social, content, email, video, communities and ads on generic terms are all fine.
Do I need to be a customer?
No, but it helps. Hourtick is free, so you can try the Mac menu bar timer, the iPhone app and the AI agent features and write about what you actually used.
Where do I see my clicks, sign-ups and earnings?
