Connect Microsoft 365 Copilot to Hourtick

Copilot Studio connects to Hourtick's MCP server with OAuth. Publish the agent to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams, and each person signs in once.

Chat assistants

Copilot works where your team already is: Outlook, Teams, Word. It acts for the person using it.

Works as you while you chat: your tasks, timers, team chat and reports.

Needs a work or school tenant with Copilot Studio. Publishing needs a Copilot Studio licence, and an admin may have to allow the connector. The consumer Copilot app can't add MCP servers.

1. Connect Microsoft 365 Copilot

Sign in with Hourtick (OAuth)
  1. 1In Copilot Studio, open or create an agent and go to Tools → Add a tool → Model Context Protocol → New tool.
  2. 2Name it Hourtick, paste https://hourtick.com/api/mcp as the server URL, and choose OAuth 2.0 → Dynamic discovery.
  3. 3Create a connection, sign in to Hourtick and allow access, then publish to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams.

2. Set up agents from here

A good place to set up agents for your other apps: it can add them and give you the command to connect each one.

  1. 1Copilot works for each person. For an agent that takes the team's work, use a cloud agent and set it up from any connected AI with create_agent.

  • Consumer Copilot (copilot.microsoft.com, Windows, Edge) can't add MCP servers.
